We are exploring whether shared, standards-led transaction infrastructure could make public-sector value flows easier to reconcile, audit and govern—while keeping legal authority, privacy and human accountability explicit.
Public money and public assets move through many disconnected procurement, finance, grant, banking and records systems. Carefully designed shared infrastructure may reduce duplicate reconciliation and create a more verifiable lifecycle record.
Programmable payments, permitted controls, interoperable records and real-world asset tokenisation where ownership, valuation, custody and redemption are legally clear.
DISCOVERY BEFORE TECHNOLOGY
We will compare public, permissioned and conventional database approaches. We will not put sensitive data on a public ledger, create a speculative token, automate commitments of public funds or claim that tokenisation changes legal ownership by itself.
PROPOSED PATH
Edge Agents AI already operates live x402 services that let software discover and purchase focused intelligence per request. That working machine-to-machine foundation is separate from this public-infrastructure research, but it gives us practical evidence about programmable transactions and accountable service delivery.
We want to hear from public bodies, suppliers, standards specialists, regulated finance partners and asset owners with a specific transaction problem worth testing.
